You can pay to use your Caflou account (you prepay for "credit"):

  • by bank transfer
  • by card manually (you enter each payment manually)
  • by card automatically (the system automatically charges the corresponding amount for using Caflou - we use the GoPay payment gateway)

You can choose automatic card payments in the Account Settings, in the Credit section, by clicking on the Change action:

💡 We use the GoPay payment gateway - GoPay handles its payment card data according to the international PCI-DSS Level 1 security standard (this is the highest level of data security in the financial sector).

After topping up the credit in case of this option, automatic payments are set up in the system, for which the following applies:

  • the amount of the automatic payment always corresponds to the currently selected plan (e.g. Carp, Dolphin, Trout), the number of users (see Price List) and whether your preference is monthly or annual payment (default is monthly billing, can be changed in Account Settings/Billing Information)
    • e.g. for the Carp and users plan, the amount is just 1899 CZK+VAT at monthly frequency, corresponding to the price list
  • the amount can change each charge cycle just as above (e.g. your account will be bigger with more users or the plan will change)
  • payment is made automatically on the day the credit in your account is due to run out
  • this is usually a monthly or annual frequency, but the exact date depends on the expected credit depletion, which may occur a little earlier or later (e.g. your account size increases or you also use credit through other paid activities such as invoice extraction, electronic signatures, etc.)
  • In the Account Settings, Credit section, you can see that Automatic card payment is active and when and which user activated this feature

Communication

  • Billing emails are sent to the addresses listed in Account Settings, Billing information
  • After the first payment, you will receive a tax receipt for the payment by email 
  • 7 days before your credit is expected to run out, you will receive an email with this information and an addendum that you have automatic card payments active and the system will charge the payment automatically
  • On the day the credit is used up, the system will automatically deduct the amount needed and send an email with the tax receipt and information that the credit has been topped up automatically

Cancel automatic card payments

You can cancel an automatic payment at any time from Account Settings, Credit section:
